Gastrointestinal (GI) Panel
A GI PCR Panel is a test that can detect multiple gastrointestinal pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites, from a stool sample. It uses a technique called polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to amplify the DNA or RNA of the pathogens and identify them. This test can help diagnose the cause of infectious diarrhea and guide appropriate treatment.
